New Board Members

Dassanaike & Kallee-Grover to join the Board of the 

North American Rugby League

 

The North American Rugby League (NARL) is a competition that brings together eight teams from across the United States and Canada to compete in two conferences comprising the East Coast Conference and the Canada Cup. The first round of games will be taking place on the weekend of June 19 in Brooklyn, New York. 

 

Lancashire based Shan Dassanaike & Liverpool based Paul Kallee-Grover are joining the existing board members on the North American Rugby League Board. Dassanaike & Kallee-Grover share a passion for rugby league and will be working with the Board to foster the growth of the game in North America. Dassanaike comments: “It is a huge honour to be invited to the Board and I look forward to combining my love of the game with my extensive operational and commercial business expertise”  

 

The North American Rugby League will be broadcasting all games live on Sports Flick with pre-season content and exhibition games along with behind-the-scenes content with players and club owners. 

 

Kallee-Grover: “As a Department for International Export Champion with a track record of success in North America I actively promote the virtues of combining sport and business in line with the Sport is

GREAT campaign”

The North American Rugby League comprises: 

East Coast Conference: Atlanta Rhinos, Boston Thirteens, Brooklyn Kings, Cleveland Rugby League,

New York Rugby League and Washington Cavalry. 

Canada Cup: Toronto Wolfpack and Ottawa Aces
